Convert-A-Ball Heavy Duty Ball Mount with 2 Inch Drop Review - 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevy Tahoe, we'll be doing a quick test fit of the convertible, heavy duty cushion ball mount, Part Number AMSC2HD. Now, the first thing we need to do before we install our ball mount, is get the hitch height of our vehicle. Now, the hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver. And we have about 24 1/4 inches. Keep in mind this measure may vary due to tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. So, now what we can do is in the drop position, we'll slide the ball mount in, line up the pin holes. more

Diversi-Tech Self-Locking Ball Mount Review - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we'll be test fitting the DiversiTech Self-Locking, Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount with 2 chrome balls, an 8" drop, and a 9" rise, rated at 10,000 pounds. Part #DTALBM6825. To help provide some extra padding for our knees when working on a hard surface, we'll be using the TruxMat, all-purpose utility mat. This mat is available and sold separately with part #TX1705064. We'll begin our test fit by first getting our hitch height. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. We have a measurement of 21". To provide some extra padding between our knees and the hard surface, we'll also be using the truck's mat, All Purpose Utility Mat, Part Number TX1705064. We'll begin our test fit by first getting our hitch height. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. We have a hitch height measurement of 21 inches. Now keep in mind that this measurement may vary depending on tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. We'll grab our ball mount and slide the shank into the receiver tube of our hitch. more

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado well be test fitting the Convert-a-Ball cushioned ball mount for two-inch hitches with a 6 inch rise or 8 inch drop rated at 10,000 pounds, part number amsc8. Now to begin well go ahead and get our hitch height measurement. To do this well measure from the ground to the inside top edge of the receiver tube opening. Our hitch height for this vehicle is 19 1/4 inches. Keep in mind that your measurement can vary due to hitch styles, tire sizes, or any other accessory that may affect your vehicles ride height. Now we can go ahead and slide the shank of our ball mount into our hitch, line up the pin hole, and install our hitch pin and clip. more

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado well be test fitting the Draw Tite Ball Mount, part number 2923. This will give you a three-quarter inch rise or a two inch drop and is rated at 6,000 pounds. To begin our test fit, well first do a measurement to give us out hitch height. To do this well measure from the ground to the top of the receiver tube opening. In this case, thats 18 inches. This measurement can vary due to tire size, style of hitch or any other accessory that may adjust the height of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 we'll be test fitting the Draw-Tite ball mount with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop rated at 6000 lbs, part number 2923. A tried and true design makes this makes this ball mount one of our most popular sellers. You'll notice the ball mount has an angle cut which will allow for the ball mount to slide into your hitch with ease. Now, the ball mount provides 8-1/2 inches of clearance from the center of the hitch pinhole to the center of the 1 inch shank. This will fit a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver and uses a ball with a 1 inch shank. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground on this truck is 17-3/4 inches. more
